Title IX

Discrimination, including all forms of sexual misconduct, has a profound impact on the learning environment and the workplace. Understanding how to respond appropriately to discrimination and sexual misconduct is a very important way we can support our students and our colleagues.

All Shoreline employees are required to complete anti-discrimination and Title IX training annually. Live training sessions are offered each quarter.

Training by Special Arrangement

Training by special arrangement is offered as an alternative for those who may find the other modes of training unsuitable. All of the trainings address sexual violence, which can be an extremely sensitive topic for some individuals for a variety of reasons. While all Shoreline employees are responsible for knowing the information covered in the training, the material can be presented in other ways, such as assigned reading or an individual meeting with the Title IX Coordinator. To arrange for an alternative form of training, please email TitleIXCoordinator@shoreline.edu.
