Campus Internationalization

Welcome to the Shoreline Campus Internationalization web pages!

In late 2011 President Lambert and the Senior Executive Team (P/SET) formed a Campus Internationalization Leadership Team (CILT) and charged it with conducting a broad analysis of efforts to advance campus internationalization at Shoreline in a systematic way. The CILT eventually produced a roadmap that discusses how to move ahead in four areas of campus life that, collectively, advances campus internationalization, including strengthening the curriculum, encouraging meaningful interactions between various groups of students, enhancing global competence of campus employees, and engaging the College’s various communities in ways foster global awareness.

With receipt and final approval of the CILT report in June 2012, the College is ready to move into the next phase, which will involve taking specific actions in each of the four areas, led by the renamed leadership team, the Campus Internationalization Implementation Group (CIIG).

In the following pages (currently under construction) we will keep the community, both on and off campus, apprised of our progress, recommend some places where they can learn more about this exciting project, and seek their input! Please join us.
