College Council


The purpose of College Council is to advise the President on matters pertaining to the effectiveness of the council and committee structure as well as with regards to College policies except those pertaining to academic and budget. In addition the Council is tasked with monitoring the College's progress on strategic plan indicators, measures, and outcomes.


Terms of Membership:

  • Classified : Five (5) classified staff, including the Washington Federation of State Employees (WFSE) Chief Shop Steward as a standing member
  • Exempt : Five (5) administrative exempt employees, including the Executive Director of Human Resources as a standing member
  • Faculty : Five (5) faculty, including the Faculty Senate Chair and the Shoreline Community College Federation of Teachers (SCCFT) President as standing members
  • Students: Five (5) students, including the President of the Associated Student Government (ASG) as a standing member
  • Ex-Officio Members: The President, Executive Vice President for Student Learning & Success, Senior Executive Director & Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and the Vice President for Advancement and Executive Director of the Foundation
