Whistleblower Program

Chapter 208, Washington State Laws of 1982, and amendments in Chapter 361, Laws of 1999, require that each new state employee receives a summary of the provisions and protections under the Whistleblower Program and that agencies annually notify all employees of the program's procedures and protections.

The State Employee Whistleblower Program Questions and Answers from the State Auditor's Office is provided in accordance with this requirement and is available on-line at the State Auditor's Office home page at http://www.sao.wa.gov, under “Whistleblower, About the Program.”  This website provides Whistleblower Reporting Forms and the latest updates to the Whistleblower Program information throughout the year.  Copies can also be obtained from the State Auditor's Office at (360) 902-0372 or toll-free number (866) 902-3900 and the SCC Office of Human Resources and Employee Relations.
