All Campus Exercise - Engaging the new Strategic Plan: an All Campus Exercise on Priorities with Pat Sanaghan, Ed.D. Little Theater. How do we bring the Strategic Plan to life? Pat has worked with 40 colleges on strategic planning and believes that planning must be collaborative to be effective. He is the author of several books, articles, and engaging presentations. Participants in this activity will break into working groups according to their interests in the themes of the strategic plan. Participants will have the opportunity to work with two themes. A debriefing session will summarize the work of the group and how we move the Strategic Plan forward.

Getting Started Teaching Online Using Bb Room 4214. Get started in a web-based classroom in Blackboard, the software that SCC uses for its online, hybrid, and face-to-face classes. 2:30-3:30pm In Part 1, you will login, learn how to get a Bb classroom and make it available to students. 3:30-5:00pm Part II focuses on course design/organization and how to add content (a folder and a file), an announcement, and a gradebook item. Affiliate Status Training - Excellence in Understanding the New Agreement Board Room. This training provides information on the new requirements for affiliate status and emphasizes the transition between the former and the new affiliate status. Rights, privileges, duties and responsibilities as well as the essential part program faculty play in the new process will be covered. Presented by Karen Kreutzer and John Backes.
