The children are learning about the community and how they can help other children when they do not have some of the basic things to keep them warm in the winter. They have set a goal of collecting 100 pair, by Dec. 4th. If you would like to host a drop box in your area, please call the childcare center at ext. 4690 and we will get it right up to you. If you do not want to host a box, but would like to donate a pair send them over to the childcare center or call and the children can pick them up on their daily walk. Whatever you could do would be a great support to the children's learning and more importantly you would be helping a small child stay warm in the winter.

Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet)
November 13 —15, &
November 20 —22, 2004
7:30pm, Lobby Theater
Written By Ann-Marie MacDonald
Directed by Shelley Douma

Goodnight Desdemona, Good Morning Juliet is a fresh, vibrant and comedic story of a college professor, Constance Ledbelly, who has developed certain "theories" about the origins of some of Shakespeare's greatest tragedies — in particular, Romeo and Juliet and Othello. Through the magic of theater and Constance's imagination, she is transported to Othello's citadel in Cypress and ancient Verona where she meets face to face with the heroes, villains and other characters of these famous plays. Most importantly she meets her heroines — Juliet and Desdemona — who open her eyes to herself! All the while, Constance encounters ghosts and sword fights, and she and the audience have a fast-paced, funny, good time.
