MESSAGE FROM THE VICE PRESIDENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES
Re: Suspended Operations Memo
A new
Suspended Operations Memo is now
available on the College’s intranet. This memo gives you information
regarding our notification procedures should a situation occur when the
College will either cancel classes or close the College for business
entirely. We have added a change to the section for Classified Staff
regarding Procedures for Reporting Employee Absences. Please take a moment
to review this memo.
I apologize for
any miscommunications or misunderstandings that may have resulted from
earlier postings to the listserves. If you have any additional questions
regarding our procedures for Suspended Operations, please feel free to
contact me.PHYSICAL INVENTORY OF ASSETS
The College is required by law
to accurately inventory our physical assets every two years. VP Stuart Trippel has prepared a memo
for the campus regarding this issue and our plans for the year. We
must conduct a complete inventory in 2006 that includes assets valued
at $5,000 or more and certain "small and attractive assets" valued between
$300 and $5,000. This inventory will take place over winter break
beginning December 18th. Suncorp Valuation, Inc. has been asked to assist with
this process and your help is needed. Please review the accompanying
notification memo and the Equipment Inventory Procedure for complete
information.> More

attends (and who doesn't) community and technical college in Washington
state. In addition to our featured article, the eZine also includes an
"All in the Family" section, highlighting promotions and awards for college
employees, and a "College News" section, highlighting interesting news
