"PHISHING" WEB SITES GREW BY 33% IN NOVEMBER
What is Phishing? Phishing is a relatively new Internet term used to describe attempts to steal your identity. The would-be thief typically establishes a web site that looks like a legitimate page for a system that deals with financial transactions. They then coax victims to visit their site by sending out random e-mail messages urging account holders to confirm their account information. We have seen Phishing attempts made to users of many online services including, eBay, Washington Mutual and Key Bank, just to name a few. Word to the wise, do not trust information and links delivered via e-mail

CAMPUS ALERT!
We will be closing the campus today at 3:00 because the custodians want to start the holiday cleaning and because we can start shutting down the heat in selected buildings at that time. Some buildings may experience cool periods at other times as the boiler controls are being tested. Please post signs on your doors this morning to advise staff and the public. If you do have an orientation or a meeting planned at that time, please let me know so I can advise facilities. We don’t want your work interrupted by carpet shampooing. Thank you. Have a happy holiday and drive safely.
