HELEN D. BEILKE
It is with sadness that we inform you that former employee Helen Beilke
passed away on August 7, 2007. Helen worked as an Office Assistant in
the Business Administration Division for many years, beginning in the
mid-1970s and retiring in 1990. She was respected by the campus community
for her hard work and efficiency. Helen was nominated for the SCC
Distinguished Service Award in 1983. A memorial service will be held
on September 9th at 1 p.m. at the Edmonds Presbyterian Church. Her obituary
was printed in the August 11th edition of the Seattle Times.
AFTER AUG 16, IF YOU NEED YOUR MORNING CUP OF JAVA....
... you will need to bring your own from home or stop at the corner stand,
for the next couple of weeks. Whidbey's Coffee will be closing for summer
break at the end of the day Thursday, August 16th. Both locations will
reopen at the beginning of Fall Quarter.
